P4: Create the production materials in line with the plan
After filming my documentary interviews, I had a lot of material to make afterwards before I even started to edit. This is a picture of me recording the interviews:
The location I decided to film the interviews in, was in a recording studio in my college. The reason I chose this was because it had a good sitting space, so the talking head interviews would come out right on the shots and in the background of the talking head interviews, there was a mac, on the mac there was the editing version of the film the cast members are talking about. This is the location of where I filmed:
After I recorded the footage, I made an edit decision where I wrote down all the footage and decided which one was beneficial to add to my documentary. This is the editing decision, I have recorded after recording the footage for my documentary:
After doing this I then decided to sort my footage out in to folders. I made 2 folders where I labelled one as 'useable footage' and the other as 'non-useable footage'. I also created a folder where I had music ideas for the documentary. It was hard to find a good one that will flow with the interviews and cuts of scenes of the film, but eventually I got there. This is the evidence where I done so:
Raw Footage
This is the raw footage I included for my documentary.
Risk Assessment
This is the risk assessment I created for audio, for mt documentary.
Music
When looking for a soundtrack for the documentary, I made sure that I was looking for copyrighted music. When I did find one, I made sure I credited it at the end of my documentary. With this music, it was made by a company called 'Apollo Tunes' and all you had to do was write your name and email to get 5 tunes for free. They didn't say anything about crediting them, but I thought I would do this anyways in my credits. This is where I found the music & credited it:
